Terms of service

Effective October 5, 2026

These terms govern access to Ledgerhand, a service operated by Cube LLC, a Maryland limited liability company. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you act for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind it. In these terms, "you" includes that organization where applicable.

What Ledgerhand provides

Ledgerhand connects compatible AI applications to QuickBooks Online so authorized users can retrieve records, run reports, and perform supported accounting operations. Features depend on your QuickBooks subscription, your permissions, and the third-party applications you use. You need your own accounts with those providers, and their fees and terms apply separately.

Ledgerhand provides software, not accounting, tax, legal, investment, or other professional advice. Cube LLC is independent of Intuit and the AI providers you choose. References to their names describe compatibility and do not imply endorsement.

Accounts and authorization

You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter this agreement. Provide accurate account information, protect your credentials, and notify us promptly of suspected misuse. Your organization is responsible for choosing its administrators, inviting members, and reviewing access to each company and AI application.

Connect only companies and data you have authority to access. You authorize Ledgerhand to process instructions submitted through accounts and applications you authorize, within the permissions you configure. You are responsible for obtaining required notices, permissions, and consents for personal information you submit.

Review accounting actions and AI results

AI applications can misunderstand instructions or produce inaccurate results. Review requested actions, affected records, and resulting changes. Some operations can create, modify, delete, or send records in QuickBooks and may be difficult to reverse. Set access permissions appropriate to the work you intend to allow, maintain your own records and backups, and use qualified professional judgment where needed.

We do not guarantee that every error will be detected, that third-party data is accurate, or that an operation can be reversed. Revoking access does not undo completed operations or retrieve data already shared with an authorized application.

Subscriptions and payment

The standard plan costs $19 USD per month or $190 USD per year for each QuickBooks company license and includes unlimited users. There is no free trial. Additional licenses are billed immediately on a prorated basis. Applicable taxes and any different enterprise terms are disclosed before purchase.

When you purchase a subscription, you authorize recurring charges through Stripe for the subscription and authorized additions until you cancel. Subscriptions renew monthly or annually according to your selected plan. Your checkout or order states the amount and billing terms. We will give advance notice of changes to recurring prices, and you may cancel before the new price takes effect.

Digital access is provided through your online account after payment and required account and company setup are complete. No physical goods are shipped. Availability of new registrations may be paused before launch; viewing the website does not create a paid subscription or charge you.

Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription through the billing portal available from Ledgerhand's Billing page. If you cannot access the portal, email support@ledgerhand.com for help. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and your subscription will not renew. Access remains subject to these terms through the paid period.

Disconnecting an AI application or stopping use of the service does not, by itself, cancel a subscription. Review your subscription in Billing and keep the cancellation confirmation.

Refunds

We do not provide prorated refunds for unused time or partial billing periods. We will correct billing errors. If a material service failure prevents you from using the paid service, contact us so we can investigate and provide an appropriate refund or credit for the affected service. Refunds required by applicable law remain available.

Send refund requests to support@ledgerhand.com with your account email, the charge date, and a description of the problem. Do not send full card details. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method; posting time depends on your payment provider.

Acceptable use

Do not use Ledgerhand to break the law, commit fraud, access records without permission, interfere with other users, distribute malicious code, evade access controls or rate limits, or probe systems without authorization. Do not resell access to the service without our written agreement. Comply with applicable sanctions, export restrictions, and the terms of connected services.

You are responsible for activity associated with your account, including activity by your users and the applications you authorize.

Your data and our software

You retain your rights in the data you provide. You give us permission to host, process, transmit, and retain it as needed to provide and secure the service, follow your authorized instructions, and meet legal obligations. Our privacy policy explains our information practices and retention periods.

Cube LLC and its licensors retain rights in Ledgerhand's software, branding, and other materials. Subject to these terms and payment of applicable fees, we grant you a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable, nonsublicensable license to access and use the hosted service for your organization's business purposes during your authorized subscription. This license is subject to the suspension and termination provisions below and gives you no ownership rights in our software or branding. Open-source components remain subject to their respective licenses.

Availability, suspension, and termination

We may update the service and supported integrations. Interruptions can result from maintenance, errors, or third-party outages.

Subject to applicable law, we may restrict, suspend, or terminate your account or access to the service if we determine, in our sole discretion, that activity associated with your account is abusive, excessive, or otherwise harmful to the service, its users, third-party providers, or Cube LLC, or violates these terms. We determine what constitutes such activity and may act immediately and without advance notice, including while investigating activity.

Where practical and appropriate, we will notify you and provide a way to contact support. We may require the concern to be resolved to our satisfaction before restoring access. Suspension does not undo accounting operations already completed or automatically cancel your subscription.

We may also terminate your account or subscription for other business reasons at our discretion. Except where applicable law requires advance notice, termination may take effect immediately and without advance notice. If we terminate paid access without your breach, we will cancel future renewals and refund the unused prepaid portion. If we suspend paid access for reasons unrelated to your breach, we will provide an appropriate credit or refund for affected prepaid access. Refunds required by applicable law remain available.

You may stop using Ledgerhand and request account closure by contacting support. Cancel any active subscription separately. After termination, access ends, but payment obligations already incurred and provisions intended to survive remain in effect. Data retention and deletion follow our privacy policy. If we discontinue a prepaid service without your breach, we will refund the unused prepaid portion.

Warranties and liability

To the extent permitted by law, Ledgerhand is provided "as is" and "as available," without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or noninfringement. We do not promise uninterrupted operation or error-free accounting or AI results.

To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable under these terms for indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits. Cube LLC's total liability arising from the service will not exceed the greater of $100 USD or the fees you paid to Cube LLC for Ledgerhand in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

These limitations do not exclude liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or any liability or rights that applicable law does not allow us to exclude or limit.

Governing law and disputes

Maryland law governs these terms, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. Unless applicable law requires otherwise, disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Maryland, and each party consents to their jurisdiction. Contact support first so we can try to resolve a concern. Nothing here removes mandatory consumer rights or access to regulators.

Changes and general terms

We may revise these terms and will post the updated effective date. We will give reasonable advance notice of material changes affecting an active subscription, unless an urgent legal or security change requires earlier action. Continued use after updated terms take effect constitutes acceptance. You may stop using the service and cancel before the changes take effect.

These terms and any applicable written order form are the agreement for the service. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. Neither party is responsible for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control, except payment obligations already due.
